Clarify Your Goals With A Personal Brand Statement

A personal brand is about so much more than influence. A personal brand IS who you are. Therefore, in order to set your personal brand strategy, you must first clarify your goals. What do you want? What are you trying to communicate? Who is it that you want to be?

In my work with clients, the first thing we do is work to clarify the “Why?” Why are you interested in building your personal brand and what is that you hope to achieve? From there, we are able to architect a personal brand statement. This is also why I created Cloudy To Clarity, to help more women clarify their goals and build their personal brands.

A personal brand statement is your elevator pitch. Your personal brand statement clarifies your strengths, goals, and passions in a succinct and meaningful way. When you know what you want, opportunities open up for you as a result of your clarity.

Another key component of clarifying your goals in your personal brand statement is to make sure to include both your personal and professional self. It doesn’t have to be one or the other.

Once you have your personal brand statement, it makes it very easy for you to then update all your social account bios to be consistent. Therefore, you are truly showcasing who you are and what you want.

Here is an example of a personal brand statement:

"I create innovative brand strategies in the music industry to expand awareness and grow the audience of our artists. I love what I do because of my passion for music and love of technology. When I am not working on marketing campaigns in the music industry, you can find me taking my dog Theo to the dog park, watching Rom Coms, and journaling."

In order to help as many women as possible, I created a product (workshop + workbook) called, Cloudy To Clarity: How To Create a Personal Brand Statement That Unlocks Opportunities to Help You Achieve Your Goals and it is only $42! You can then learn how to create your own personal brand statement to clarify your goals. Get started today!
